As far as I know, all of the Super Turms mods are compatible with GWX, each new version is just an update on the previous one with whatever new/different stuff Aces has done to correct, improve, or add things.

What other mods are you running?

@simon.c

At the risk of repeating mein frau's advice, take a look at Aces post, particularly his mod order. This will help you, just glean from his list which mods you and he have in common and enable them similarly. You can find his latest mod order here:

http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=184132

Just scroll down Aces first post and you'll see his mod order there. Regarding the howto using JSGME. Aces combined a whole updated shebang of his latest works in his ST6 zip/rar file, so you'll need to unrar your download then select each mod seperately and place in your mod folder before you can enable them. Hope this helps and best of luck shipmate.

Best regards.

And you might already know this, but NEVER add a mod when you're in the middle of a patrol. Your savegame will most likely become corrupt, so always make sure you install mods between patrols.

Other than that, read Aces first post in his release thread really carefully. It's a lot of information, but he describes very well what versions there are, how to install them and in what order.

IIRC all you should need is to enable Aces' mod properly, there are no other requirements for making the Super Turms work.

I think the most recent versions of Super Turms actually have several different mods within the main folder you get when you extract the contents of the downloaded file. One is typically the Super Turms mod itself, the others are add-ons like Bearded Crew On Deck or Lightmaps for different turm types, stuff like that.

Make sure you are putting the actual Super Turms mod folder into the MODS folder of your game installation for enabling with JSGME, and not a folder "one level up" from the correct one or just one of the addons.

For instance if you downloaded the file Aces'_Super_Turms_v5.1_GWX_Version.rar and extracted it, you would get a folder called Aces' Super Turms v5.1 GWX Version. Inside that folder are several subfolders, one of which is the actual Super Turms mod and gets copied into your game's MODS folder. The other folders are for optional Lightmap and Crew mods, they would be copied as separate mods into your MODS folder and enabled separately if you wanted to use them.

Double check Aces' thread on whatever version you're trying to use. While his Super Turms mods are compatible with a wide variety of other mods, IIRC you aren't required to use anything else with them. Some of his other mods are "built" on mods from other people and require them first, but I don't think Super Turms does.

Again, check out his release thread or the documentation included with what you have, Aces is very good about providing all the info you will need. If there are requirements regarding other mods that need to be enabled first, he will almost certainly say so in his readme file or in the release thread. If you continue to have problems, posting in Aces' thread about the mod would probably be a good idea too as he seems to monitor them pretty closely and is very good about responding to inquiries.
