RIAA doesn't even care about piracy, they just want money.

I truly think the RIAA and MPAA are examples of what are wrong with capitalism.
Pirating is illegal, but the penalties vastly outweigh the crime. I really think if they made the penalties lower, and a much more reasonable amount, then people would respect the laws better. They would see them as a fair and just law. They were written to punish the mass producers of pirated goods, not the 12 year old kid who wants to grab the latest single. I agree with the huge fines for the groups that were producing CD's and such is huge volumes. But for the average Joe, it's not even close to reasonable. |

The current U.S. money supply is $8.89 trillion.
The RIAA is asking for more than 8 times the amount of money in existence.

$75 Trillions There isn't even that much wealth in the world. But it feels good to award that. No wonder folks are clinging to their guns, bibles, and gold.

Wow. Sorry... that was quite extraordinarily rude of me. Ahem. Well... I mean, really. If you're gonna file suit, man, go whole hog with it. This'll put the great publishing houses of Ursa Minor right out of business - and RIAA executives will be first against the wall when the revolution comes.
