Default Looking for Mod

Hi,

I've searched this site as well as ubi.com for this mod - "pull_down_map_with_routes14" to no avail. I need the .jpg that comes with the mod to figure out where Jap shipping is concentrated in mid 1942, since I just spent 3 weeks patrolling East of New Guinea, North of Rabaul, and in and around the Bismarck Sea without spotting a single ship !

Thanks

Patrol up and down the "Slot" especially on the NW cape pf Guadalcanal. With Tulagi close by, you can reload quickly and be back on station in no time flat.

You can have a blast "derailing" the Tokyo Express. Plus there's some real cool surface battles in the area, and if you time it right, you can blast the Jap Navy outta the water with torpedoes, while the surface ships pound them with shells. The destroyers try to slow down to hunt for you, which leaves them sitting ducks for the big guns of the cruisers and BBs, and American DDs. The bigger Jap ships are usually then outgunned by the US Navy.

Watched some really cool battles in that area over the course of 1942.

Default July 2, 1942

By the way, its July 2, 1942 and I've checked my map - Tulagi is not available as a refuel/refit station. When does it become available? And is there some sort of data table hidden in the SH4 directories/files to obtain such type of info ?

Thanks again

Oops................, Forgot to add, if you're using TMO. The invasion of Guadalcanal starts in August of '42, and since I'm up to Late May of 43, I can't remember exactly when it shows up, but it's around summer of '42.

After August things start to heat up in the area, and will last until well into March and April of '43.

When things cool down there, I move to the area in the Bismark Sea to the narrow spot between New Britain, and New Ireland by Rabaul. Plenty of action there, and with the narrow passage, it's pretty easy pickins, since the ships can't run all over the place trying to escape.
