Bad Memory
I have two suspect RAM sticks of DDR2,2GB on each stick,is it ok to test them by putting 1 stick at a time in my puter in the first RAM slot on my board
![]() I know on of them is causing BSOD,just not sure which one ![]()

can your computer even turn on?
tried memory testing software yet? of course, if that don't work you can try unplugging 1 of them to test the other |

Could be an overheating (faulty design if that), or just an address that doesn't get used till later.
If it boots with one stick, then definitely switch them out to see which ones fail. But do as tyrant said too, get some software to scan the sticks. |

Try checking the memory with some bootable memory test software.
Some times the memory fault can be at an adress rearly used by windows so hard to pinpoint. Also check your cooling fans and correct placment of the CPU cooling block. |
