Default He was an elite officer...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russell..._%28Colonel%29

Quote:
He was an elite officer that in July 2009 took command of Canadian Forces Base Trenton, a hub for air transport operations in Canada and abroad and the country’s largest and busiest airbase.
Quote:
Williams has been described as an elite pilot and "shining bright star" of the military. He had flown Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh, the Governor General of Canada, the Prime Minister of Canada, and many other dignitaries across Canada and overseas in Canadian Forces VIP aircraft.
Now look at this: http://www.montrealgazette.com/news/...404/story.html

or

but the worst:

Quote:
He was formally charged by the Ontario Provincial Police under the Criminal Code of Canada with two counts of first-degree murder along with two counts of forcible confinement and two counts of breaking and entering and sexual assault;[3][4] another 82 charges relating to breaking and entry were subsequently added.
I just can't find the words to describe it...

Ugh, way to go Col. Pantythief. Though I'm sure some of his former subordinates would've had a good laugh at those pictures.

Disgusting Especially considering that his position of very high trust enabled him to hide this for so long.

Yes it's pretty shocking. Almost seems like an episode from NCIS. Quite a bit of an uproar that his pension will stay intact. I agree with those that think that money should be going towards the victims and their families. How does it work in the USA in regards to military personal committing such heinous crimes with so many years service? Would he/she retain their pension?

The higher the perch the greater the fall as they say.

Now if you will excuse me I need to go gouge my eyes out.

How odd, under the circumstances perhaps a telephonic communication to the appropriate emergency service would be procedurally expedient, better still dont do it. we are here if you need to talk.

what is stranger still is that he passed all the psych and security test along the way, becoming commander of one of the bigger bases up here, without anyone clueing in to any of this.

He was stopped in a purely random road block by an alert cop who noticed something odd and took the time to investigate.
