When I was still living alone, I couldnt be bothered o get up either to kick some serious fly butt.
Instead, I used to shoot flies and mosquitoes with this:

Of course i didnt use paintballs for this..

Those yellow foam earplugs fit perfectly for this caliber..

Wait until you have to go to store to buy food.

Buy flyswatter.

Swat flies.

No more flies.

Flies are not so bad, not many get in. Being summertime, wasps and bees love to break in and bother me when i'm doing something important like IL-2.
Luckily, the cats find such insects absolutely delicious. Just pick one up and point it at buzzing intruder, works a treat!

Get yourself a can of fly repellant and... Spray yourself with it.

Or... Go take a shower.

Last summer we had a problem with flies in the house. Big fat ones kept appearing no matter how careful we were about keeping them from getting into the house.

Turns out a rabbit had snuck into the basement, probably during the move and expired under the oil tank and that's where the flies were coming from.

Two words: Fly Tape. Bait it with scraps of soft food like cheese. You'll be rid of your flies in no time.

It could be worse. I once had a freakin' fly in my bedroom when I went to bed one summer night. It was bad enough hearing the thing buzzing around all night, but the worst part was that the !@#$%ing thing was OBSESSED with trying to land on and crawl into my EAR !!!

Pffft, bunch of pussies Try living in south Texas during spring/summer, when one day of rain brings about two million mosquitoes. AND THEY GET EVERYWHERE. As one guide said when I visited a ranch, "Here in Texas we have 2 kinds of mosquitoes: the kind that flies through your screen door, and the kind that stops and opens it."
