If SH5 was a TV Show

Right now, Saturday 19:30 GMT peak hours for viwsiting a forum. There are 151 people i9n the freshly released, much balihooed SHV forum.

Meanwhile there are 134 in the combined, obsolete SH3 and SH4 Forums.

This indicates a total sales fiasco for Ubi's always online production.

If SH5 was subject to Nielsen ratings It would already be in the trash can of history. Too bad, as the graphics seem gorgeous.

No, this only indicates interest levels of the Subsim.com membership which surprisingly is still somewhat less then the world population.

Don't get me wrong I hate DRM (but can live with it) and the game is boring and I have not started it in 2 months at least, but your still making a huge leap there.

The worst thing is that he devotes so much of his time posting this kind of trash in a forum for a game he doesn't own or intend on owning. He spends all this time bashing SH5 and how trash it is, but yet devotes so many posts to it. Pathetic.

In short, p*** off.

We get that you hate this game and hate Ubisoft. You don't have to keep proving it. Go back to your SH3 forums and talk about us there without constantly spamming this forum with your hate please. It's been three months now, stop it.

I don't think it has anything to do with SH5 or DRM at all.

If you look closely at Alexey aka Brag you will note he is a starving writer.... Which in itself is fine, but look even harder and you will see his blatant spamming of his book through his signature in each post.

SH5/DRM has been a publicity tool for this poor or broke chap, unfortunately I don't think his sales have gone up.

His book is a very good read and well worth a peruse if you like that particular past time.

I did find the rights management obtrusive though - I had to have the book in my hand in order to read it. What if all books were like that? I travel a lot and if all books were like that, I'd have a bag full of heavy books and no room for anything else!

I was also unable to read the book at night, unless I had a constant light source with me, as the book was not self illuminating. There was no warning about having to have a light source in order to read the book, but luckily I have a fairly reliable electricity supply where I live (some of my friends do not though) so this isn't a problem for me. It's a good job I don't go camping, as the cost of torch batteries in order to use this entertainment product would be very high. Once I tried reading the book on the train, but when it went through a tunnel, I lost the light and was unable to use the book for almost a whole minute until the train emerged from the other end.

I read in another post that they had illumintaed books made by monks in ye olden times, so if they could do that hundreds of years ago, why can't they now? Ye olden times monks knew how to treat their customers!

...if he thinks I'm gonna spend my hard earned money on a book I can only read when he tells me.
