I'm just the opposite. Looking at the screenshots I've been thinking for some time that the wakes were fine, but the other foam floating in the water was too dark. It should also be bright white.

I agree steve but the problem is that at night the bow and stern spray may as well be a lighthouse .

This is right and its actually how the ships search and find one another on the oceans at night - where there are no street lamps -

So Sailor Steve is right - if all you got to see is the bow wave and the wake in order to find your target then your on the way to playing a reasonable good portrayal of life at sea at night.

I seem to remember looking off the aft end of the ship at night in the med in total darkness and seeing the phosphorescence glow from the screws turning up the water. It was visible for a good 1-1.5 miles. You could see it plain as day. The carrier made an even brighter trail.

Aye, the phosphorescent plankton when churned up makes a pretty surprising amount of light at night. No offence intended Sober.

I hope is there a way to adjust the colour of the bow/stern/side wake depending of the day/night situation , I agree with Sailor Steve about the colour of the side foam , looks a bit creamy colour instead of normal white

Does anyone know if bioluminescent wake is possible in game? That'd be an awfully cool visual effect, aside from the realism factor.
