Carrier playable?

is it me or does no one want to try doing a playable aircraft carrier. i find my self bored because i have to play with is three surface ships.
uss iowa
uss montana
uss north carolina

it seems to me that eveyone has forgotten. hms hood, uss missouri. uss enterprise, uss arizona, and more. i would like to see these ships sail once again as a tribute to the brave sailors who never made it that day.

i would like to try doing my own ship but i have no experience what so ever.

if anyone has the experience please let me know, as i will do anything i can to help
