Default SH5 MEALS thread.

hey i decided to post this

what was the uboat meals made on ww2 boats at the time,

any of them be recreated..?

for realistic will any of yous recreate uboat meals while playing sh5 .. how cool would that be..

what did they drink on board tea coffee?
hard liquor being bottle beer and maybe some whiskey ..

hope we can interact with the cook , watch him make great meals onboard lol. whats for dinner bernard lol

well webster the crews did eat on the uboats..

few people in here that are very knowledgeable on uboat history.

what kind of meals where made on uboats.


humans have to eat...

i tried a google search on this nothing so far.

I believe there was no alcohol.. Germans were very strickt.

I suspect they ate more or less the same as when they were not on a Uboat...

Uboats were not very well designed to deal with food and its consumption I guess..
(no dedicated place to store food, only 2 toilets and a crappy twin plated stove for cooking.)
Its as if after they built them - they figured, hey these men need to eat!
- oops didnt think of that

Ordinance takes priority I guess.

397 lbs. dried potatoes
3,428 lbs. other vegetables
1,226 lbs. bread dough
2,058 lbs. preserved breads
463 lbs. rice and noodles
595 lbs. fresh eggs
917 lbs. fresh lemons
2,365 lbs. other fruits
551 lbs. butter and margarine
611 lbs. soup ingredients
408 lbs. marmalade and honey
309 lbs. fresh and preserved cheese
1,728 lbs. milk
441 lbs. fruits juices
154 lbs. coffee
205 lbs. other drinks
441 lbs. sugar
132 lbs. salt
108 lbs. chocolates

Breakfast would usually consist of coffee, buttermilk soup, biscuits, hardbread with butter or honey and eggs. Lunch would be soup, potatoes, cooked meat and vegetables, and fruit. Dinner included sausages or canned fish, cheese, bread, and coffee, tea or chocolate.

see if someone can find some yummy uboat recipies...,

do know from the sim hanging sausage that i know , but as for canned foods? did they even have that?

i plan on making some real uboat chew, when playing sh5....

long patrols. dart into the kitchen start makin.

yes it will be great you can dart into the kitchen make it then sit back down in front of your screen and enjoy the soup ...maybe the cook was good lol, make a nice german veggie soup ..lol 1 hour later da craps..... lavy backed up..
