Can someone tell me the range of Type I and Type II torpodoes, in meters, using GWX 3.0?
There is something in the SH3 manual but it is not making sense... Regards, Rick |

Being able to take shots against stationary targets at 10km is nice, and long shots against convoys can also be attractive: you might not feel like playing with their escorts, and even f you miss your intended target you have a decfent chance of hitting something.
In many other situations the longer range of the atmospheric torpedos is quite useless though, especially against manoeverable targets... they will literally see it coming from miles away and evade. |

Does the mod that changes the torpedoe wake effect the range at which the torpedoe can be spotted, or is the mod just eye candy?

Or other torp. have steam engine,and this is not eye candy,I´ts real, obviously in the game so yes this is stream of heat pollution from the engine
