Hi all!
This question is for WAC4.0 team: I play your mod and the rising/lowering schnorchel time is too fast (15 secs). Please...how can i do the rising/lowering schnorchel time more slow...i would like it about 2 mins...like in real life. Is this possible? This little thing is very important for me...please, help me engineers. |

The speed at which the snorkel can be raised and lowered is found in file data\library\sensors.sim. Look for 'snorkel' and 'ext_time' (= extension time) with a hex editor, S3d editor or mini-tweaker.
This affects all U-boats except the Type XXI. Snorkel time for the XXI boat can be found in NSS_Uboat21.sim. Look for obj_Snorkel and ext_time. Values in stock SH3, in War Aces and in GWX3 = 10 Value in NYGM = 180. [Edited.] Stiebler.

Thank you!!!
Only one thing...I have been waiting 4 years to have the perfect uboot simulation and i have fear to make a corrupt file because i have never used those programs. So...could someone give me a link for those two files: sensors.sim and nss_uboat21_snorkel from WAC.4.0 update with the only change: ext_time=180, like in NYGM for both types, VIIC, IX and XXI??? Thanks for your help m8s. ![]() |

Ive used s3d editor to change the values to 180. It works perfect and its very easy to use. Thanks stiebler for the reply. |
