nice work !

I doubt they were used in real life because even there are 60 of them u got a surface on the sea like 2 times that of germany?
So it's still a vast distance to cover so the pilots needed to be lucky.

very cool indeed, a great detail,
later on british implemented their own ones, more like a boat in shape and believe carried a way to send some kinda radio distress signal in order to be rescued by fast boats.



Even so, quite a number of the german ones were drift away and some ashore on england coasts, due to poor anchoring, and repainted (no red crosses, but some letters and painted dark)

Could be modified to show those "lobster pots" according to the year of war?
i.e: many of them in 1941, some less in 42-43 with some repainted by british.,..
and so on?

Weren't the German pilots breifed on where these rescue bouys were, so that if they had to ditch, they could try to get as close as they could to a rescue bouy?
