nice work !
I doubt they were used in real life because even there are 60 of them u got a surface on the sea like 2 times that of germany? So it's still a vast distance to cover so the pilots needed to be lucky. |
Cool !

very cool indeed, a great detail,
later on british implemented their own ones, more like a boat in shape and believe carried a way to send some kinda radio distress signal in order to be rescued by fast boats. http://www.military-researcher.co.uk/RescueFloat.jpg Even so, quite a number of the german ones were drift away and some ashore on england coasts, due to poor anchoring, and repainted (no red crosses, but some letters and painted dark) http://www.3d-raumplan.com/wk_privat...files/udet.jpg Cheers |
Cool idea. Will have to try this out at some point.

I like this, thanks Mikhayl!!:yeah:

Could be modified to show those "lobster pots" according to the year of war?
i.e: many of them in 1941, some less in 42-43 with some repainted by british.,.. and so on? |
Weren't the German pilots breifed on where these rescue bouys were, so that if they had to ditch, they could try to get as close as they could to a rescue bouy?
|
Very cool Mikhayle! :up::up::up:
