Damn, the longest version is the best. In the other versions they left a lot of stuff out so many things just don't make any sense.

Luckily we dont have THAT much ads. Like I've watched F1's from, I think it was Speed or something like that and there were ads like every 7 minutes.

I remember seeing Das Boot the television series-version when it was shown for the first time (I think?) on Finnish television. I wasn't quite as into subs etc. back then but I remember digging the music at the beginning and at the end of every episode.

That's my only real objection to the 'Uncut' version - that it wasn't divided into the episodes with the credits in each one.
