Do you know if it's gonna be the uncut version or directors cut?

Not the longest one, that's the only thing I know.

Damn, the longest version is the best. In the other versions they left a lot of stuff out so many things just don't make any sense.

Funny I watched just the other night.

Will have to be content with watching it on DVD:cry: at least there are no ads!:D

Luckily we dont have THAT much ads. Like I've watched F1's from, I think it was Speed or something like that and there were ads like every 7 minutes. :haha:

Really should go buy that. Been meaning to get my hands on it for a while, and by a while I mean since its mentioned so often here I feel I'm missing out on a great WW2 sub film

I remember seeing Das Boot the television series-version when it was shown for the first time (I think?) on Finnish television. I wasn't quite as into subs etc. back then but I remember digging the music at the beginning and at the end of every episode.

That's my only real objection to the 'Uncut' version - that it wasn't divided into the episodes with the credits in each one.
