Crysis version

Hi, just purchased and installed Crysis, I would like to know the version I have, the main menu screen displays numbers at the lower right hand corner: 1.1.1.5767, is this version 1.11? also I tried to install patch 1.12 but all I get is an error:

After a bit of research it seems that I have to install punkbuster, is this correct, I don't play online, is punkbuster a global thing or just for this game? maybe I could install it, install patch then uninstall punkbuster??
