Crysis version
 

Hi, just purchased and installed Crysis, I would like to know the version I have, the main menu screen displays numbers at the lower right hand corner: 1.1.1.5767, is this version 1.11? also I tried to install patch 1.12 but all I get is an error:

After a bit of research it seems that I have to install punkbuster, is this correct, I don't play online, is punkbuster a global thing or just for this game? maybe I could install it, install patch then uninstall punkbuster??:hmmm:

Only thing I can answer to is that Punkbuster is a program used by many different games (All of the Battlefield series uses it). I reccon it's reliable.

punkbuster doesn't interfear with any game. It has its own folders. I haven't used it in a long time so who knows what changes have been added. :hmmm:
