Hi gang. I'm seeing areas of untextured water, mostly in moderate to severe wave heights. They appear as pure baby blue. This MAY have started after installing GWX 3...but I did not play vanilla very much before upgrading to GWX...so I can't swear to anything.
Here's a shot: ![]() It's hard to do them "justice" and keep the screenie at a decent size. My specs: ASUS Rampage Extreme x48 Intel C2Q 9650 3.0ghz 4gb OCZ RAM BFG GTX260, 896mb (C:720, S:1480, M:1220, mhz) SoundMAX X-fi nVidia Forceware 178.13 drivers GWX3.0 with the "Resfix" Vic |

Same here. Still useing GWX2.0. I only notice this when looking straight ahead. If I pan around, the sea appears normal.

I beleive that it has to do with the fact that the wave generator only generates detailed waves within a certain distance of the sub. Beyond that is where the distant basic waves are drawn. The odd matchup is where those two areas meet.
