Yes, I lost a dear friend of 17 years today.

Sold, to a good fellow in LaPorte, but sold none the less.

I've had this bike since 1991, I'm going to miss it. If anyone asks me why I'm selling it I'll jump out the window.

As someone who always feels like a traitorous heel when I leave an old car with all it's memories behind in the lot as I drive away in a new one, I know how you feel.

I miss those days myself - every time I renew my license I keep the M endorsement - though with kids now I know it will be many a year before I ride again. I don't drink - but I'll hoist one in spirit with you Neal.

I understand having to sell bikes...my spouse has made me do it more than once...

No worries, she is going to a good home and a loving family who love to take her on day trips. Much like yourself. I'm sure you sent her off with all her shots and paperwork.

Now you can go look for a bigger puppy

Been there, done that.... it sucks, hell i still miss some of em.

A cost effective solution...buy an old unloved one and get her flying again... it's then impossible to get rid of.
