What Submarine Simulator to buy?

Hi all!

I'm new to this forum, and have been a long time away from submarine simulators.

A long time ago, I really enjoyed 688(I) Hunter/Killer. I've searched the internet a bit, and it seems like there are two simulators around that will give me something of the same:

Sub Command and Dangerous Waters

Which one should I buy for the best experience? I'm looking for a modern realistic simulator.

Tanks for the help!

I have all three and each one has it's own qualities.:hmm: But DW is the latest.

I'm more of a WWII buff myself.

Check our DW forum as well as classic sub forum for more info and post there for best results.

Dangerous Waters !!

Also, grab a copy of the Sonalysts Naval Combat pack. It's pretty cheap and included 688i Hunterkiller, Sub Command, and Fleet Command ! You get quite a bit for a small amount of cash in that package.

I definitely reccomend Dangerous Waters. It's a good sim and it looks like there's some new mods coming down the pipe that are really going to inject some more life into that sim.

Welcome aboard! If you like 688(I), you will enjoy Sub Command. And don't overlook Sonalyst's best selling modern naval game: Fleet Command. You can get Sub Command and Fleet Command (along with 688) as part of the Naval Combat Pack. If you order online, please have a look at the Subsim Store here, the prices are great and your purchase supports Subsim. Dangweous Waters sells for $15 and the Naval Combat Pack sells for $20: that's three games, all patched and made Vista compatible (trust me, that's important).

I loaded Fleet Command back up last week and have been enjoying the campaign immensley. I'm engaged with the Chinese crossing the Taiwan strait, trying to take out that pesky aitrfiled that keeps launching Badgers and Flankers at my fleet!
