NOOB question

Having had SH3 for a long time I've finally been persuaded to change sides and bring myself over to SH4, so here goes with the NOOB question: What do I need?

I'm happy my specs are good (using a tool I found while I was searching for info).

Silent Hunter 4 Collectors Edition is going cheap on Amazon and seems to be the cheapest way of getting the vanilla game.
I presume I need the U-boat missions.
I've heard that the Gold edition contains the two together but haven't yet found it for sale on UK websites.

I'm after a physical DVD as I use both desktop and laptop which causes problems if I use a download.

Can one of you experienced SH4 Captains point me in the right direction?

You can get .co.uk through Subsim also.
