Default I finally saw one! Two Actually!

Well my fellow captians, I had to share this since you are the only group of people who can appreciate what it is.......

I tried to explain the importance of it to my wife, and of course she was very sweet and tried to act interested, "Thats Nice Darling", but hey she tried!

So here's the story, I'm having a ball, started from Lorient then head out towards the western approaches, while there I came across a small frieghter who was dead in the water, all alone......it was strange, I didn't see any damage thinking maybe a fellow grey wolve had visited earlier. Nothing, I began to think "Okay this is a setup" He's going to radio me in, so I did the same in return, I radio'd him in. I neared the ship on the surface and he started shooting, nothing major, just what looked like a 50 cal. on the top deck, which was reduced with my deck gunners pretty easily. I watched the gunner get blown 50 feet into the air. I crept closer....

Then I hear, aircraft spotted. I knew it, he set us up. I get prepped to dive and take one look in my binoculars and to my suprise, It's a Condor, one of ours, they got my message and were coming to take a look. Who knew, and thank you to all the modders, good to know we're not totally on our own.

So anyway, from there I decided, let's head for the Denmark straits, I have never taken my boat there, thought I'd take the scenic route to the US via Canada and Nova Scotia while refueling at the Bulcher Supply ship.

Its Jan of 41, and look what I find! Not one but two, first time in 3 years of playing. I was so excited, now if I run into the Cyclops, I'll die a happy capt.

Thanks for all the little items that have taken this game to a new level.

Good find! Did you do the decent thing and sink the freighter, or did the Condor have a go?

One day I hope to see a whale or dolphin...

I felt as I had no choice but to let the deck gunners finish what they started. Funny, no life boats at all. And my gunners took their time finishing them off.

The condor flew right over the freighter, pulled up and started what I thought was a dive bombing run, but at the last second he pulled up and started to fly home....I didn't think to grab a snapshot of him.

Great photo!

So now there are "dolphins and whales and bears, Oh My!"

Can't wait to see them too.

I have some great shots of these two bergs, must be a couple hundred feet high.

Just met up with the bulchen supply ship, resting, refueling, and then I think I'll pay Halifax a little visit!

I've heard dolphins & whales occasionally while doing a manual hydrophone check but have never actually seen one. What's the renown for sinking one of them?

When sailing out of Bergen, I had the immense pleasure of being escorted out of the Fjord by a couple of dolphins. truly wonderful
