Default Could This Be the Legendary Flying Dutchman?

I came upon this ship in the Pacific and it looked like an easy target for some shooting practice with the Yamoto. Quite the opposite... like a Timex watch it took a beating and kept on ticking... moving along like nothing happened. All though it has extensive damage to the hull and the map shows it as sunk. :hmm:

Thats certainly not the FD...unless it is a latterday reincarnation. Actually, I don't know what it is. Maybe your current mod went a bit overboard in "realistic sinking times".

Where can we get those clear dials?

Nice looking pooch btw...

Perhaps it's Marie Celeste then?

PS. Yes those dials are very sexy.

Unless I'm going blind, those dials are the stock version dials from the Uboat add-on for the German side.

CollateralDamage... Thank's for the links... no that was definitely not the ship I saw! LoL

Same as a sub in the game... but you'll need the U-Boat addon to add the surface vessels though. They are a Blast using against convoys or having a bit of surface action and all very well done. Although the Yamoto lacks binocular's for locating enemy units up on the bridge and a few of the others lack a few pieces... they are ready for action other wise.

Yes... those dial's are from the U-Boat addon... by the way the addon I picked up right here at the Subsim site.

In action with the Yamoto against the might of a RN Cruiser and Destroyer escort on a supply run up to Taiwan recently.

and the heroic last stand effort of the Destroyer escort...

Although this Phantom ship does not have bellowing sails or Capt. Bernard Fokke giving orders at the helm... it is a Hellish crew none the less stoking it's engine fires and manning the bridge under the order's and wages of the devil.

Seminole... I haven't hear about the Gold edition... but have enjoyed SHIV with the U-Boat Mission package. Well worth the $10 I spent on the download version of the addon.

Also must say what an incredible job people here at the Subsim forum have done producing these mod's and the continuing work they are doing with the new surface vessels that have added to the list of mod's for both games. Out right fantastic and quite the choice of how you want to play SHIV & SHIII.

And Woofiedog say's... Thank's for the complement.

Lucey... Woofie's new sister...

Have you ever seen "Being John Malkovich"?
There's a mod somewhere, that enables you to steer almost all vessels... oh blast, but where to find...
