Default how do you man the AA guns ?

i got the sailors in place but how do you get anyone to man the AA gun ?

ingame hit battlestations:hmm: I think thats what you mean but
I am not really certain. crewslots appear when the gun is
purchased each gun has a number of available crew slots

Im still not sure its what you want

C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 4 Wolves of the Pacific\Data\UPCData\UPCUnitsData then then the weapons file.

keltos, in the upc or upcge files you have to have crew slots for the guns. If you took the files from an existing conning tower, then they should already be there. If not, use one of the conning tower .upc files as a guide to make slots for the crewmen to fill. When you go to the crew management page, are there any slots for crewmembers for the guns?

there is this, and I don't see the difference with other conning tower's upcge..

I quickly looked over the German upc and they don't have slots that I can find for A01 and A02 which is where his guns are. So they must do it a different way on the UBoats. There are a lot of listings for Deck Guns with the slot set to NULL. Could they be considering the flak as Deckguns and you need to change the NULL??

Sorry, Keltos, the section you need is in the blahblahblah\Data\UPCDataGE\UPCUnitsData\UnitParts #SubName.upc file. There is a file like this for each German sub. They are numbered in order, so the # should be replaced with the number 3 if you don't have any other playable subs in your installation. The SubName should be replaced by your sub class/type.

The section I'm referring to (from the IXD2) looks like this:

Same here, forgot there was a .upc in the Unitparts.

@Keltos That is where your WCS men are too.
And not 100% sure but I think you need to put a "slot_A01" in, there is one on A02 but A01 is just the cfg#. (That's in the .dat file I talking about)

ok here it is : the kaidai tower has two AA guns, but at action stations only one is manned, the Jyunsen B has none, I looked at the normal IX tower and changed the .upc accordingly, is there another file to change?
