this is hilarious.

i have read a hundred posts about...

"Where is the luftwaffe? why dont they ever come?"

"What do i have to do to get the opportunity to see the luftwaffe help me out at sea?"

and when the fly boys finally show up the posts begin to change into something else entirely.

Now... i have read a hundred posts about...

"THEY STOLE MY KILL!"

Well, it's inter-service cooperation. Be thankful for it!

The only sort-of-friendly plane I've seen away from base is a Spanish Condor

Fat mans Goering flying slobs will sink a ship and take the credit to (BLEEP) you off. Fire a few shots in there direction and watch them fly off home with there tail between there legs.

We'll always get complaints about Herr Goerings flyboys (aka the Luftwaffe) stealing our kills, or never turning up when we need them

You've obviously witnessed a phenomena twice in a day that some people have never experienced.

You must learn to take the kill more quickly

Reading this thread reminds me of a patrol I did a while back.
Probably when GWX first came out.
I decided to raid Dunkirk, and put a dent in the BEF's evacuation plans.
I had just got inside the harbour when Herman's boys turned up and delivered this lot.

They then followed it up by having a close look at my boat,
Real close I hit this one.

Gotta love them flyboys.

Hermann Goering is, in a sense, a really big jerk!

He sends out the planes only if he wants to!

If it is for fighting the Allies, he'll send them.

If it is helping u-boats, he'll not send them.

Meh, they do steel my kills sometimes, but they also Stuka'd the snot out of a River DE that was harassing me off Malta...

They also decided to bomb Bristol just when I was slap-bang in the middle of the port at PD, that was very unnerving, having friendly bombs falling all about your boat, I think there was 20 He111s or something.

I also stole their kill once, hitting a large cargo with my eel just before the Stuka could drop it's bombs....

all's fair in war I say
