(Interveiwer) I heard a rumor that you and Balz were sent on a perilous mission to Scapa flow.

"Yea back in mid 39'. We were sent to do some recon and see if it was possable to enter her. (Von Titz winks at audiance full of young frau and giggles erupt) So anyway Balz got there first and told me to watch how a real Kaleun does it. He did his hoochie woochie and by god he made it in quite easily."

(Interveiwer)Well did you copy his hoochie woochie style?

(Von Titz still smiling and eyeballing all the ladies in the crowd looks back with a stern look) "No. I couldnt let my good freund und rival show me up, So I Pulled up to the nearest Zerstorer (Destroyer) and surfaced!"

(Interveiwer) Well what happened? Did they open fire on you!?

"Of course not! They invited me aboard and gave me a tour of the place! And after hours of sighning autographs and a few of my hit records (U-boat songs to make love to) they told me to pick a few ships to sink in my honor. I chose the battle ship and a destroyer. On the way back to my boat the destroyer passed Balz who raised his fist at me and threw his tea cozy on the deck.....Yea he was mad."

(Interveiwer) I heard Churchill was furious at your unannounced visit.

"Of course he was! After all he was not able to get there fast enough to get my autograph."

(Interveiwer) Do you think of your Kreigsmarine rival Balz as any threat?

"I have one question? Where is his Golden torpedo!?"
