A good haul....Scrap one drydock!

Went to AN13 and upon ariving got radio notice of a fleet 60 km due north. Found fleet and put 4 torpedo's into the direction of several heavy cruisers and one Battleship. The battleship was the same class as the Royal Oak which I had sunk in my last patrol but I didnt make any strikes and was forced under by some dogged escorts.

After all of that I patrolled my grid then decided to raid Lock ewe. It was easy getting in under the surface. And I sank their drydock! I also got a heavy tanker.

Well worth the trip!

1 13,000 ton tanker
1 Floating drydock 33,000 ton
and several tugboats, fishing boats and tramp steamers for a total of 56,000 tons!

Default port raiding

Don't you love the raiding. I stopped the RN from shooting up Calais after the channel was reopened, but the raiding was Freetown and Alexandria. Both were well worth the time.

The drydock took 1 torpedo and sank instantly! But a word of advice there are two drydocks on a shallow keel and one a deep keel (13 meters) I found the shallow keel and wasted three torpedos before I figured out that they were going under it. So I had to manualy change the torpedo depth to 0 before I could hit it.

Also it would be cooler to find a drydock with a ship in it!:rotfl:

Drydocks are quite easy...take only 1 torp set at shallow depth and right in the middle...they go down for me every time...

BTW - if you like Scapa, there is one in perfect position in the Western portion...just hang a right at the first place you can, stick your scope up, go almost to the end of the island on your left, and Walla! It will show up at a 90 degree angle across your bow at 0 degrees...Torpedo Los and down she goes...
