Default Where to find length of ship in recognition-manual?

Hi,

Just got SH4, been getting used to manual targetting for a few days.

Where can I find the length of a ship?
The recognition-manual has a line along the bottom of the page....but there's no value/scale with it.
Also, it seems offset, to the left in my case (I'm on a 19"CRT, 1024x768/85Hz).
Why not simply add a value above the ship, next to the mast-hight value?

Mast-hight is what I use to determine shiplength for now, since I know that value...I simply count how many masthights go along the ship-length.
Pretty odd, lol.

P.

p.s. SH4-config is in my sig.
