Where to find length of ship in recognition-manual?
Hi,
Just got SH4, been getting used to manual targetting for a few days. Where can I find the length of a ship? The recognition-manual has a line along the bottom of the page....but there's no value/scale with it. Also, it seems offset, to the left in my case (I'm on a 19"CRT, 1024x768/85Hz). Why not simply add a value above the ship, next to the mast-hight value? Mast-hight is what I use to determine shiplength for now, since I know that value...I simply count how many masthights go along the ship-length. Pretty odd, lol. P. p.s. SH4-config is in my sig. |
Paajtor,
Probably not the answer your looking for but the manual has ship length in it. As far as 'in game' I guess it's not included. Peabody |

I was just taking a look at the SH4-files, to try to find the RM-pages.
To my amazement - probably old news to you guys - I found a whole bunch of SH3-files, for the good old "Erkunnungshandbuch"!:o The folder I was in, was ...:\Program Files\Silent Hunter 4\Data\Menu\Gui\RecManual. What's that stuff doing inthere? So I took a look at the structure of a darker RM-background mod I have loaded, and found that file in ...:\Program Files\Silent Hunter 4\Data\Menu\Data!! Talk about confusing, LOL.:rotfl: It seems, that allot of SH3-data has been caried over, but isn't used....yet? (addon coming, perhaps?) Anyway...still haven't been able to locate the RM-pages themselves. Will take a look at FooFighter's stuff.:D |
This is just to easy .:p Where to find the length
I guess nobody going to touch this one. :rotfl: |
