I`m in my first patrol GWX 2.0 really loving it. I had a campaign in which my patrol area was not reached because of damage, and I was low on torpedoes. I ran into a medium British cargo, and sank her, minutes later I was attacked by a Black Swan Destroyer. He got a couple of good hits on me before I could crash dive. I was able to make repairs, elude him, and later sink him.
I had 3 dead, which I buried at sea while surfaced. On my way back to St. Nazaire, I noticed on the map there was a supply ship the Bessel at Vigo Spain. I put in there at night, was able to resupply, even get replacement crewmen. When I left it was a month later, and my new orders were NULL. Does this imply I may freehunt, and pick my patrol area, or do I have to return to my home base? Puts

If you were running SH3commander you would have only spent 1 night in Vigo

If you're going into Spanish ports to resupply, staying longer than 24 hours, or was it 48, anyway something like that, no more than a few days, would violate their neutrality, which they wouldn't like because the Allies get upset about that sort of thing... look what happened to the Graf Spee in Montevideo
setting the days in port to 1 will simulate you having to leave fairly quickly ![]() |

Ivan there is a mod called sh3patrol, which let you change number of days in port and gives you a sensible new patrol grid. I use and like it myself.

Thanks guys for your advice, my only other encounter of resupply has been Milch Cows, this was the first time I`ve resupplied in port. I`m also aware of the Neutrality Act. Thanks again. Puts
