Default Coming back after SH4. What do I need.

Hi guys, well after what seems like an age, I have been attracted back to SH3 after hearing that GWX 2.0 is out. However I see that Sh3 has moved on quite a distance since the last time I had a look at her, SO could anyone out there help me on the best mods to install. I still have quite a few from the last time she was installed on my machine, before i was tempted away for a affair with her sister Sh4, ( Mind blowingly Beautiful but so so shallow ) How stupid I was. Anyway, its time to commit myself fully to SH3, I am doing a fresh install updating to 1.4 and of course downloading GWX 2.0. From my old install I have Sh3 Commander, various Radio mods, A damage texture mod if I remember right, sh3 weather and the GWX Ships skins mod. Is there anything else i'm missing guys. Call me shallow but i would like the Best looking / realistic experience I can possible get. Hope to hear from anyone soon

Take a look here, it's my mods page:

http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=122221

Working on AI torps currently and hopefully having it released here soon. My mods were compatible with GWX 1.03 but I'm having to sift through all the files to see what's changed and all to see if I need to update my mods to keep compatibility with GWX 2.0. The SH4 effects for SH3 will work but will probably have missing sounds if used with GWX 2.0.
I'll also be working on add-ons and mods for GWX 2.0 in the future. Check back to my thread for details from time to time.

for info on the AI torps see here:

I really like the look of that SH4 effects in SH3, Maybe I can have the best of both worlds after all. I'm downloading GWX 2.0 at the mo but as soon as thats finished then I'll be downloading the SH4 effects at once, The GUI interface looks great as well. cheers again mate, See you out there one day

If you could help me out and report any bugs or errors you find with any of my mods you choose to install with GWX 2.0 I would appreciate it. It will take me some time to sift through everything. You can PM with this info if you choose

Well if we are plugging our mods here , you can't really go for long without at least trying the...

U-jagd tools mod!

http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=123373

or the related OLC GUI, which provides the tools and a lot else in a total GUI overhaul

RB:
I was wondering if you are going to release the effects 2.03 compatible with 1.03 or will you change it to be used only with GWX2.0?
i hope you can make it to be used with 1.03 first, and if it's not much to ask, then for GWX 2.0.
Thanks for your effort and hard work.

Just some friendly advice to GWX 2.0 users... before modifying your installation, you should run it for a few days by itself incase you run into any problems.

Once you start loading it up with extra material that was not built by the GWX dev team... you are risking CTD's and all sorts of other crazyness... unless you are familiar with deep file modification.

Go slow. You'll be able to have your cake and eat it too. One thing at a time though.
