My apologies to Vortex readers. With the rude intrusion of a publisher who has made me divert time from this forum, by making me work on a book that will be released in June 2008. This, and a bit of GWX

have prevented me from posting new Vortex episodes.

Kingmaker is an espionage thriller and here's the cover art.

Still the cover looks promising. Diamonds, blood and I'm assuming U-Boats. If the main character turns out to be called Balz I'll cry though. If it ever appears in my local bookshop I'll buy it

I can dig it -- sometimes it's better to operate covertly.

I like your site; good advice to wannabes there. I used to have a bottom-feeder Hollywood agent who charged an annual fee -- what a waste! I'm done with Hollywood in general; next time they'll have to come to me, I ain't chasing after them.
