ok I found and now have mini tweeker running, now a big question if you don't mind?

How do you reset the sceney txt that it uses. I see that it over writes all scenery files all over the computer. If you make a mistake, how do you fix it? Or delete the files being over writen?

Thanks.

Not sure I have a clue what you're talking about :hmm:

The mini-tweaker .zip afaik has only 1 file in it, "setup.exe". After installing you should have a folder:

C:\Program Files\SH3 Mini Tweaker\

And in that folder you should have:

TweakFiles (folder)
hex_editing.htm (file)
hex_example.gif (file)
readme.txt (file)
SH3MiniTweaker.exe (file)
unins000.dat (file)
unins000.exe (file)

Are you sure you didn't download something "nasty"? Your install don't sound anything like mine!

Also, don't have a clue about these "scenery" files you're talking about that it over-wrote. What are the names of these files, exactly?

It doesn't overwrite anything unless you change a value then click the "Save New Value" button. Even then it over-writes only whatever file you're working on, in the SH3 or SH4 install folder you pointed it at. It certainly doesn't overwrite things "all over the computer" as you say.

Sorry to bump this post up again, but since it was named Mini tweeker this is probably the best place to ask. I have had to re-install my windows and am trying to get the mini tweeker back on my pc again. Unfortunatly i can't seem to find the link to the mini tweeker program anywhere. I have tried to find it on filefront. But unfortunatly if you do not know the exact name of the file you end up with a whole lot of links, but nothing remotely pointing to SH4... If someone could supplie the link to the Mini Tweeker i would be verry gratefull for it.

Thank you verry mutch!

Mini Tweaker is dead, and S3D has taken its place.
