Sorry for asking you, but why only "-10" meters in .sim file?..
It was said (in previous versions - 1.1, 1.2), that hydrophone starts to work even a bit under periscope depth - something near 18 meters. Am I wrong with it?.. Your "MaxSensorHeight" value 0xC1200000 needs to be 0xC1900000 for it. Changes are 00001DD5: 20 -> 90 00001FD2: 20 -> 90 000023CC: 20 -> 90 |

yes, but it was wrong too.
In RL, as soon as the hydrophone T head touched the water you were able to listen through it, but not very far if shallow because of wave noises. I believe we are getting contacts through the supersonic heads while surfaced (those balls under the sub keel), which was used to listen supersonic pingings, but up tp 20 nm??? not at all in rl. |
