Sorry for asking you, but why only "-10" meters in .sim file?..
It was said (in previous versions - 1.1, 1.2), that hydrophone starts to work even a bit under periscope depth - something near 18 meters.
Am I wrong with it?..

Your "MaxSensorHeight" value 0xC1200000 needs to be 0xC1900000 for it.
Changes are
00001DD5: 20 -> 90
00001FD2: 20 -> 90
000023CC: 20 -> 90

18 meters was too deep for me, its real easy to set it to 18 meters if you want, but i probably dont have to tell you :D
As for the misstakes in tweakfile, could be i dont know, didnt seem to affect this

yes, but it was wrong too.
In RL, as soon as the hydrophone T head touched the water you were able to listen through it, but not very far if shallow because of wave noises.

I believe we are getting contacts through the supersonic heads while surfaced (those balls under the sub keel), which was used to listen supersonic pingings, but up tp 20 nm??? not at all in rl.

Apparently japanese escorts frequently drove around banging away on their active sonar and our subs listened for it and used it to home in one.
