I've just hit a stationary british destroyer. I've hit it in the port side bow and he is on fire! I heard explosions.. How much time do i have to wait until i can be certain it will sink? I mean, if a ship's on fire for 24h it should "die" doesnt it? Thanks in advance.

If his engines have stopped and his propellers aren't moving, he may be dead. If he is still undercontal and manouvering, then he's alive. If there are still people maning guns he's alive, if not he's going down!

Thanks! Its still a bit unrealist the fact it is indeed possible for a vessel to burn indefinitely.
