Am I dead?

Had a bit of a barney with a liberty ship after a convoy battle. I sank him he kicked my ass before that. I suffered a bit of damage, 3 crew killed and down to about 74% HI. Then a destroyer turned back from the escort and so I dived. Problem is I seem to be the onbly person on this boat. All controls working fine but when I go to the Hydrophone room I get

And when I go to the control room I get this view

Where is everyone?

I dont mind them jumping ship but I'm very pissed off that they wouldn't bring me with them
