Default Tonnage GWX 1.03

I'm on my first career with GWX 1.03 and 100% realism (in 1939). I was wondering what kind of tonnages everyone else have been getting. Good idea to see roughly where I stand.

For each patrol, I am approximately 50K for a 20 day patrol in a Type VIIB.

Thanks

1939, first patrol 14K tons.
second patrol I went into scapa flow and sank the Revenge class that is there and my ending total was > 30K tons.
third patrol was in BF15 and I got 40K tons.

but I play at 58% realism.
GWX1.03 loaded via SH3 commander

Interesting note: when I was in Scapa Flow I ran in with decks awash and saw the defense there and all the DD's were facing land and not moving. I was as if they grounded themselves in dire fear of my presence!

im getting about 25 - 35k a patrol normally. Sometimes I'll get higher it depends on if I get a nice convoy or a BB.

At the start of my first career I soon worked up to that sort of tonnage, but I was not playing with manual targeting, so your performance sounds good to me

I've now switched to a Type IXC (currently off the US coast) so hopefully my tonnages should go up , although the commute to work is a drag!

I managed 87,000 tonnes last night, I came across a convoy with only a single Flower class escort, wore out my deck and flak guns and expended all eels (VIIC).

20-25,000 is much more common!

20-40k in the Atlantic.

About 10k per patrol in the Black Sea. No contact reports is tough.

50K per patrol is very good.

Sounds like the story of the fish. I'll throw in 100k

Thanks all.
My First patrol = 35K (including a raid into Scapa Flow). My second patrol I ran into HMS Hood and managed to sink her with a 4 torpedo spread at close to 4000 m range (no map contacts is really tough to hit fast moving ships) =100 K plus. My last two patrols has been in the 50 K range because I managed to hit large cargo ships within convoys (got to love the fact that they blow up with one fish).

With GWX I get 40-50 usually and 60k sometimes and frankly that is way too high for playing at so called 100% realism.
In 5 patrols I can be better than any of the best. Yeah, right errr Richtig!!

A long time ago before GWX I changed all the tonnage so I could not get more than 25k on a great patrol unless I ran into a battleship which we all know is not common.
Most patrols would be 15-20k with 6-9 ships sunk. That was the average high for the very best Kaleuns in real life

Now that MAW is set to release and I have some time (too hot and too dam many love bugs at the gun club for my Kar98k fun) I think I will do an edit of all the ships leaving only the big tanker at 10K (15K now) with the large cargo at 6K the medium at 4K etc. This way I will not get these false high totals.

I have already reset my medals so I barely get any per patrol and no "invincible" metals.
I use to have a crew hat could stay on watch 24/7/31/12.
I know it is a hassle moving the boys around but it means I must stay involved and pay when I do not.

Does real matter to you?
If not do it how you enjoy.
It is your own little war and no one else will show up to complain on your PC.

My 6th patrol with U-48 type VIIB, 1 toopedo left, 169K, too incredible
Version GWX 1.03
Difficulty setting 84%, with external view and auto targeting.
Next partrol should be set to 100% difficulty
