Crash when loading savegame

Hi mates!

I have the problem that the game ALLWAYS crashes when i try to load a savegame. As i have not the time needed to finish each patrol in a single session, this prevents me from progressing further in the carrier-path. And as the carrier is the most promising part of the game this situation is very disturbing.

Autosaves (when leaving port) work correct.

Gameversion is 1.2, no mods installed.
System is p4 dual 3ghz, 1gb ram, Gforce 6600 256mb, drivers are latest versions.

Any hints?

no, after installing the new patch i started a new carrer as i read that old savegames amidst a patrol won´t load.

i really enjoy subsims very much, even if sh4 has some quirks right now, but without a working career it will be pretty boring for my taste

i read in a different thread that installing 1.2 over 1.1 can cause problems. any confirmation avail?

in the patch-thread is stated that it is a patch working on ALL prior versions...

I did a clean install, installed 1.1 patch, then 1.2 patch. No problems or crashes so far. No problems loading saved games.

On the other hand I haven't re-installed any mods yet, either. Waiting till I finish this patrol.

Check your Graphics card for anti whatever you call it and Vsync, I had anti-A set and 2x and same with the other at 2x, up close the lines and wires on ships looked good but at a distance it was still a case of broken or missing lines and wires. So I up'd the Anti-A to x8 and same with the other one.

I ran the game and when the intro stopped the game just went back to DT, could not figure it out, when I put Anti-a back to 2x and the other one the same, I got passed the intros and the game loaded. So when the logo and intro vid were done I was crashing to DT but when I put the anti-a and back no more CDT..

As i found no solution for my problem I went for a full reinstall and direct patch to 1.2. Now anything works as expected

Thanks mates for your assistance, but now I have to leave, my crew is in desperate need of their captain
