Default Odd patrol results?

Just finished my first patrol in my IXB. Sunk 75000 tons of allied shipping. Came back to port and was promoted even though I was still under 5000 renown. Also awarded my crew 4 IC 2nd class medals and 17 U boat badges. BUT, I could only award 6 of the badges. Also it was strange my captain did not get any medals.

Mostly wondering about the promotion and that I was unable to award all the medals to my crew.

The U boat badge can be a bit finicky to latch on to with the cursor....you'll just have to persevere mate

hehe. I awarded 6 of them no problem. Then after that it would not let me select the badge even though I had 11 left to give.

I often have to leave the barracks, come back, then give out the badges. Or try giving them out in barracks on the way out.

I used to have the same issue with the medals before GWX, do not know if they fixed that or not but for me its simply click and drag with no issues now.

Sadly gord, the medals are a "use them or lose them" status, now that you have left port they will have vanished into the mists of time the promotion thing I haven't a clue about, but hey, promotion's are all good right

You can add them again anytime through SH3commander
Plus a few more if you think your crew deserve it

I personally don't use Cmdr to award medals but it is well capable of doing so if that is your wish....I'm sure some people do

Ya the war badges are a pain in the butt to grab, probably because it has so many "blank" spots on it, grabing it at the bottom is the easiest but even then they can be slippery hehe.
