Default patrol log has gone

im using gwx and have just docked at a utanker mid patrol to refuel. however, the tonnage i sunk has vanished on my logbook. is this one of the drawbacks with resupplying, that all the ships u sink are lost from your records?

When you dock at a supply ship, you essentially end the patrol and beginn another one after resupplying. The tonnage is not lost, as it is added to your total, unless something went really wrong.

In that case I think it has nothing to do with docking at the tanker. The bug where no tonnage is credited after a patrol has been around for ages. As far as I know there is no sollution for this. One advice that's usually given, is not to upgrade the boat before first patrol. What I usually do, is to save right before docking and load the savegame if the bug occurs, more often than not the tonnage is credited after reloading.

For a number of reasons, my first patrol is always a tour around the harbour and return to dock.

This improves the crew efficiency and prevents some of these weird bugs from happening.

Nobody is 100% certain....but IMO changing the torpedo loadout means you are making a change to what the game has given you initially So err on the side of caution and make NO CHANGES
