Default A somewhat humorous problem

I got myself a IIA in 1939, and I'm having a rather interesting problem that you German-speakers might be able to help with. The culprit:
Häußer

How is this pronounced? You know there's something very wrong when you cannot pronounce your commander's own last name.

Thanks! Just hit a ~12000 ton merchant with two torpedoes. I'm hoping it sinks without an extra torpedo.

Edit: Got it! Only 10000 tons though.

I sank two more of them. 30k tons in a dugout and I don't even get enough renown for a VIIB, after 3 patrols already.

It would be written in English as "Haeusser", but not sure if that helps you at all with pronunciation

concerning the ß: it is not pronouced like in "house" but instead like in "Sun" or "Sailor Steve" (sorry Sailor Steve, but I guess you can live with beeing a glaring pronounciation example ).

The "äu" is spelled like "oy" in royal, so in English I would write it "Hoysser" (double s to make sure the s is not spelled like in house).

just my German two euro cents
