The wrath of Bernard and a question

6 Months since my last run of SHIII. 6 long months. I set sail from Lorient in fine weather, watching each headland pass by as I head out to the open sea. As I stand on the conning tower enjoying the last fresh air for some time, mentioning some course corrections to my crewmen, I hear those haunting words "Eins, LOS!" and watch as a torpedo happily swims away from the bow of my U-Boat with no chance of hitting anything except maybe a landmass miles away. I can only think of one thing. BERRNAAAARD!!!

Now that I am up and running, GWX will be my next download. *edit*Anything else worth d/l'ing while I am there? (personal recommendations, as opposed to the stuff I should download regardless)

Welcome back. Read the manual and look at my website. GWX is tough but survivable if you do things right.

Is good to be back. Am on your site reading it page for page at the moment. Cautiousness was always fine for me, it was the constant lack of torpedo's that was my major frustration. It didnt even occur to me that you can re-supply in docks *blonde moment*.

I always recommend SH3 Commander and SH3 Gen; the best and second best tools you can have.

Sorry, I don't mean to hijack the thread, but I have to ask, who is Bernard? I've seen mention of him a few times. Anyone wanna point me to a link? Or just a quick rundown? Thanks.

Back OT....

GWX + SH3 Commander + SH3 Gen will make for an allround game.

I'll suggest that you get used to GWX first and then go in search for other mods if there is something that you think you can't do without.
