right, having played sh4 which is a good game i think im gonna be staying with GWX, now sh4 does look very very good graphic wise and has some very good missions but........i just find it lacking something and i cant put my finger on it really. i played it for a couple of hours last night and it just left me wanting to turn it off. the controls are easy enough to use but not as easy as GWX and find them a little awkward although they are more options to choose from, i just find the whole control engine a chore really. i still cant figure out how to use the auto recogntion manual, so when i see a ship in the distance through the periscope i dont know what the hell it is. other than that the game is pretty good all in all, bit i think im gonna play GWX more than sh4.

I reckon there could be more similar posts along these lines before long....at least until some of the bugs are removed or overcome

I've already said I will play SH4, but I will also continue playing SH3 no matter how good SH4 becomes; and I won't be using GWX (at least not all of it).

Not got SH4 yet and from what I read I really don't know if I want it or not,but curiosity killed the cat so I might one day go out and get it,it took me nearly 6 months after sh3 got released before I went out and actually bought it.

I bought it as soon as it hit my local store. I didn't have a computer that would run it for another three weeks!

Thats what I did with SH3 - £8. But as you say, curiosity gets the better of you and I've already ordered it. It took a long process thanks to dedicated modders to make SH3 what it should have been originally - and now it's A1. Modded SH3 has set a precident. Just hoping Ubisoft have monitored the improvements to SH3 over the last two years and built on this sterling work when developing SH4. |
