Default Will Sh3 be forgotten?

Hi fellow Kaleuns, with the recent release of Sh4 im geting afraid that modding in Sh3 will stop and due to this we will never get wolfpacks wich i think is the main feature missing in SH3. Sh4 may turn out to be a good game but the PTO compared to Atlantic... Its just not the same thing it lacks mystique. So i hope our fellow modders dont forget our beloved SH3

NEVER

Besides, some of the modders I know, 1)have no interest in a PTO & 2)can't even run SH4 at the moment.

As for wolfpacks, if it can be done (properly) then it will be, if not then you can be assured that this is due to the limitation in the SH3 coding, which we can't change. It won't be for a want of trying.

Wolfpacks are a must have in many people's eyes.(aswell as AI torpedos)

You shouldn't fear anything. SH3 is special considering the way its matured. GWX is soon to receive a small bug fix and there is a main content patch due for release sometime in the future. The future looks bright for SH3 really. So much progress has been made in crafting a brilliant realistic and authentic Atlantic experience. Hell over in the SH4 forum the aren't even sure whether the game is worth buying yet! To me it seems as if there are many more problems with SH4 at release than there were with SH3.

So we needn't worry. Sure there will be some bleed off but it will be well over a year before we see SH4 getting any kind of modding that could rival SH3.

Besides if you read in one thread I explain exactly why I love the Atlantic more than the sunny Pacific.

Keep up the good work wolves. We ain't dead yet.

Not by me,I'm enjoying SH3 and GWX far to much to be interested in SH4 just yet,I'll probably get it eventually but I'm in no hurry, being a U-boat captain is just so much more interesting than being in the pacific. And anyway with all the Mods out there for SH3 there's years of atlantic shenanagins to be getting on with

We should make a petition or something demanding SDK for SH3.

I have to disagree.
While it would be in our interest to for the Modders to have access to this file it is the property of UBIsoft. You nor I are in no position nor have the right to demand this property from them.
You can always ask nicely though.

I also have not interest on Pacific. The German U-boats are much interesting for me, and the answer is: Long live SH3 . Maybe the developers will bring back a SH5 to Atlantic theater, but until then I'm with SH3!

I doubt very much Ubi will just hand out the code for SHIII... or any of it's games. You might buy it tho if yer wallet is big enough.

Never demand anything.... it could bite you.

I'm a loooong way from having exhausted the challenges of SHIII and have little interest in PTO. Where we should encourage Ubi is to come out with a wolfpack version of SH III, which would incorporate GWX. by the time this SHIIIB comes out, there will be lots of SHIV people ready to return to the Atlantic, thus it would be good business for UBI to start working on SHIIIB (Notice, I'm not a Ubi basher. Ubi has done great stuff. Without them there would be no SHIII or GWX, or us.
