Using GWX 1.02. The loadout for the Type IXB is 21 torps total, instead of the 22 it's supposed to have, from what I've read.
Is there a fix for this? |

Maybe that's a compromise, given that the BdU prohibited the use of external loadouts for all u-boats from 1943 onwards? :hmm:
Cheers, AndyW

Well if you don't have external storage in a Typ IX you have not much. IIRC the IXs had 10 or 12 torpedoes in external storage while the Typ VII only had 2.

Sorry, I can't seem to locate a cfg file with the submarine ammo header. What file do I amend? Thanks.
Edit: Is it the Basic.cfg file found in ...\SH3\data\cfg ? |

OK, I edited the file as Steed suggested. Starting a new patrol, I now have 6 fore external reserves, out of which ony 5 are loaded.
![]() Am I missing something else? GWX 1.02 |

You declared the 6 external stores, but did you define them?

So it looks like I missed a step. Pls tell me how I can fix this, thanks.
I've already edited the basic.cfg file that Steed mentioned. |

This part is basically a declaration of what the sub will have:
Quote:
Quote:
Now, it lists things, sequentially in a way a computer understands it. In otherwords, it starts counting with 0, so number 5 is really number 6 in human terms. Also, every year the ID for that store increments. This is 1939 ForeResExtern05=0 this is 1940 ForeResExtern15=0 1941 ForeResExtern25=0 1942 ForeResExtern35=0 And so on, and so forth |

Ok, I think I got it.
I suppose for best results, to do this only when in port? |
