Default Sinking Town Class (2 pics)

Hey, I came around this guy south of Ireland. I found him like this, doing 3kts. I examined his hull and there was no apparent damage, any ideas why she'd sit like this. (No reports of friendly naval or air in the area either)

That said, 1 T2 in the dead centre split her in 2 with ease.

Any idea why it spawned like this. And btw, I didn't get credit for the sinking.

Maybe if you would have fired at it, you might have gotten credit. Let's see what the wise men & Sea Lords of GWX have to say.

Not sure if this is related, but there is a 36 destroyer in Wilhelmsven in 1939 that looks almost the same. Very low in the water. So low half the rear turret goes under on a down wave. She is docked though.

i wanted to post about this too. this is also an issue when you lose contact with a convoy, outside of the normal visibility zone, and regain contact. i have loads of ships low in teh water then. some of em are close to sinking status, incl escorts.

I've seen the same thing in Stock SHIII, with mods, of a Flower Corvette and a Black Swan Frigate.... both riding so low in the water that their decks were awash. But when the BS needed tho power to chase me she sure had it. It could be a SHIII bug, or something to do with a mod. Haven't seen it yet in GWX.

Just to note, my 36 was in GWX. It also was after returning from patrol.
