3d. GWX Patrol is a Parade

January 1940. Twice in a row, I'm sent to the British east coast. Shallow water, smooth seas, and a parade of small craft: Trawlers, small motor vessels, a sailboat, coastal tankers. Used one torpedo on a destroyer (got 'im ). Will run out of yummies ordered from KDW in Berlin: Schwartzwalderkirshtorte, eisbein, kassler, kuchens, etc. before running out of torps. Fortnum & Mason doesn't deliver to U-boats. Where have the big boys gone? Waiting for the shoe to drop .

I refuse to sink sailboats. Getting low on flack ammo.

Yep you wont find any bigger prey unless entering a port
Coastal areas are for umm coastal craft

Move to deeper waters and bigger prey

That trusty map that shows the shipping lanes works wonders.

Schwartzwalderkirshtorte.

MMMMMMMMM!

Oh, do you like it? I'm not partial to desserts myself, but this is excellent.

Out of morbid curiousity, I looked that up. How can you guys have one word for Black Forest Cherry Cake? :rotfl:

As suggested above, try to enter a port once!

After having attacked Scapa, look what I came across on my escape...sailing in August '42:

General depth in that area is approx. 100m.
After the contact, the 1st convoy changed course due SSE, and I'm following it right now, to prepare for a night-attack.
Lots of big targets...last one in closest row is a Pyro-ammunition ship.

After they thought they had failed to bring the monster to life, they are having dinner. Igor asks about the dessert, and Dr. Frankenstein (Fronkensteen?) replies with one word "Schwartzwalderkirshtorte", beginning the dialog I quoted.
