Going to be getting back into the swing on things when my new system arrives.

That's why I haven't been on TS or been giving regular updates to the crew.

But I'll get some stuff to show you this week (hopefully it'll arrive this week anyways...)

So I've been playing intensely for a few days, and this mod is great. It's pretty hard too (those enemy ships are psychic). Very pleased to enjoy a well done mod, and thanks for the effort.

I'm quite curious as to how the weather works. It seems to go on and on for days. This one time I think I spent about 10 days in heavy rain, heavy fog, rough weather. Couldn't see anything to target and couldn't use the deck gun. Just sat there and let 10 days pass. If this kind of thing happened for real the whole of scotland would be flooded under 2m of water.

So is there any particular reason why all these seperate files weren't just archived into a single file for download?

One of the major new units to be included was the RMS Titanic, but now the icebergs have been fixed she sunk during beta testing
.... and then there is the Polynesian canoes... and the S.S. Minnow.
.. and there's also the Loch Ness Monster which you could encounter if you raid Loch Ewe

In an attempt to install GWX I get the following error in the GWXInstErr.log:

Test 1 = PASSED
Test 2 = PASSED
Test 3 = FAILED - 1.0.0.1
Test 4 = PASSED
Test 5 = PASSED

I've installed a clean SH3 (D2D download), incl. 1.4b patch (never installed before on this pc). Platform is Vista x64.

I don't understand the version indicated after test 3, possibly the patch did not install right? I have not started the game because I read GWX needs an absolute clean install... Maybe Vista related?

Any ideas?

See my post 6 in http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/show...815#post609815 and my post 6 in http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/show...273#post612273

That and remembering to get the 64 bit version of the starforce drivers should steer you clear.
